The CBS Case Study Challenge brought together participants from across India to solve real-world business problems under Crescendo, the annual cultural and management fest.

About the Event

As Synergy's flagship academic initiative, the CBS Case Study Challenge was organised under Crescendo, the annual cultural and management fest that draws over 35,000 attendees.

In collaboration with Ecovision and Grandeur, the event brought together participants from across India to solve real-world business problems.

The challenge saw 600+ registrations. Ten finalist teams after surviving 2 preliminary rounds, tackled strategies for Luminous on diamonds, positioning, perceptions, and channel mix.

Competition Structure

Round 1: Case Submission

Teams submitted their detailed case analyses and proposed solutions to the business challenge presented by Luminous.

Round 2: Final Presentation

Shortlisted teams presented their strategies to a panel of judges, demonstrating innovative thinking and practical solutions.

The Challenge

Participants developed strategies for Luminous to:

  • Explore entry into the diamond business
  • Analyze positioning and market perception
  • Design an effective channel mix strategy
